Kai: our new AI colleague for copywriting

Introducing AI copywriter Kai

At NXTLI, we believe in using AI to achieve both our own goals and the goals of our clients. We have already introduced a number of AI colleagues such as Liza, Ian and Pia. Hereby we would also like to introduce Kai our copywriter.

Kai is not just a writing tool or an AI. It was developed to support us in writing content that makes an impact. Kai has been trained from the beginning on important aspects such as tone of voice and target audience-oriented writing. This training allows him to add immediate value by writing texts that match our clients' content and needs. He continuously learns from every interaction and helps us write texts faster and more efficiently.

Why we developed Kai

The idea to develop Kai came about because a lot of time goes into writing content. Writing texts that are consistent with your brand, accurate and convincing is also a difficult task. Moreover, writing good content requires a large dose of creativity, something that even experienced copywriters do not always have on hand. Moreover, we find that AI tools currently on the market can help with writing, but still fall short in many areas.

That's why we decided to develop Kai. By training Kai specifically on our data, knowledge and skills, we ensured that he is able to write strong texts. By working with Kai, we are faster, working smarter, without sacrificing quality.

How does Kai work?

We have now fully integrated Kai into our workflows. Through Slack, we can communicate directly with him. When we need a text, we ask Kai for a first draft, then he comes up with a concept that we can then polish to our liking.

Another thing that is very nice about the Slack intergration is that we don't have to use an external tool to consult with Kai. Kai is part of our AI team so all our colleagues can give him assignments. In addition, the AI colleagues can also collaborate with each other. For example, we ask if Pia can create a content schedule, and then Kai can write and elaborate on the content.

Because Kai gets better as he creates more content and learns from feedback, he gets better and better at matching his writing to our tone of voice. Although he needs occasional tweaks, he is making rapid progress and his work is increasingly aligning with our expectations.

Why not replace humans with AI?

While Kai is a huge contributor to our team, we don't see AI as replacing our staff. Instead, it allows us to focus on content strategy and editing. Kai takes the repetitive work off our hands, allowing us to focus more on strategy and the creative concepts
