Roton Music was faced with the task of continuing to grow and refine their processes. Although they were already successful, they saw opportunities to extract even more value from their data and improve decision-making. Improving internal processes and gaining clear insights therefore became a priority, with the goal of further strengthening their digital revenue model, both within Romania and internationally.
Roton Music is a music label from Romania, founded in 1994. With more than 20 years of experience in the international music industry, Roton is known for its diverse range of different music genres. The label has more than 20 artists under contract and has an impressive online presence, including more than 6 million followers on YouTube and 300,000 followers on social media. Roton Music does not only do music production, but also artist management and marketing & distribution.

Our approach
In addressing the challenges for Roton Music, we began by conducting a comprehensive content impact scan. With these scans, we identify which channels and types of content are (will be) most effective in improving your digital performance. We then developed customized content impact strategies for the label and their artists, including Bianca Tilici and Fly Project. These strategies are both short- and long-term. In these strategies, we focused on the steps that needed to be taken to improve performance.
We also set up several dashboards. These dashboards ensure that all relevant marketing data, such as performance on social media, ad campaigns and streaming data are in one place. This allows the team to see performance in real-time, allowing them to make faster and better data-driven decisions and adjust their strategies as needed.
Furthermore, our monthly social analytics provide Roton Music with further insights. We look at the progress of their social media performance and provide recommendations for optimizations. These insights allow the team to continually make adjustments to get the most out of their social media.
